Kent Monkman’s Shame and Prejudice Now In Stock

The Kent Monkman art book, Shame and Prejudice: A Story of Resilience, that accompanies the national exhibit currently at the AGO is finally in stock at UTP, and it’s a beauty! This is a lead First Nations exhibit that explores First Nations resilience in colonial and post colonial Canada. The book is trilingual in English, French, and Cree. Please send your orders in UTP

This is an important book for Alberta, as the exhibit is at the Glenbow Museum in their permanent collection in Calgary and was a huge exhibit at the MOA earlier this year. It will be hitting national media from Toronto, too. The works are absolutely stunning, as the Tyee reported when they saw them in person.
