Elvis, Me, and the Lemonade Stand Summer (9781770866157, $13.95 PB)

Middle-grade novel that’s quickly becoming a kid’s book club favourite. This is a debut from Indigenous author Leslie Gentlie, who lives on Vancouver Island. A finalist for the 2022 Rocky Mountain Book Award, it was included on CBC The Weekend Morning Show “…keeps young readers interested over the summer holidays.” It was also included in CTV Your Morning “Ten great children’s books from Indigenous authors” and was chosen for the 2021 Kid Committee Summer Reading List for Silver Birch.
