Last night a huge arbutus came down behind our place and it made a very loud bang. Made me think “2022 has come in like a bang alright!” This morning a deer family had gathered around the huge fallen tree to munch and nestle in. That’s the bright side of the fallen tree; it now provides a safe place for the deer.
