Our first fund has been allocated!
The 2020 recipient is Drawn to Books, in Edmonton Alberta.
Read + Seed, in collaboration with Drawn to Books, co-created a contest for 2020 called “When Artists Become Heroes”, for kids to enter to win placement in the Drawn To Books 2020 summer book camps. This contest will allow 4 kids from two age categories to enter to win free tuition to the camp. Deadline for kids’ entries is June 1, 2020.

Drawn to Books is a non-profit organization in Edmonton, AB, whose mission is to nurture a wider view of literacy for Alberta youth by providing educational programs and increasing access to comics and graphic novels for both schools and communities.
